“During his onboard narrative, Herrmann described three humanoid crew members as hairless and very pale/white-skinned, with narrow slanted eyes that he characterized as “Oriental”-looking, relatively frail-looking bodies, and an impression of physical strength greater than their builds suggested.”

“Herrmann later described the crew's reddish-rust, suede-like clothing as seamless-looking one-piece jumpsuits with no visible buttons, zippers, pockets or belts and with footwear integrated into the garment; the escort alone reportedly wore a small silver disc emblem etched with a winged-serpent or bird-like figure.”

“On a later reported encounter, Herrmann said the beings had no fingernails and that their slender fingers could extend and retract, giving a shortened or apparently webbed appearance when retracted; the finger tips curved slightly upward, while the thumbs did not appear to share the extension behavior.”

“In the later “The Alien Beings” appendix, Stevens compares Herrmann's reported occupants with an alleged recovered 4-foot-3-inch body described as gray-white and hairless, with a proportionately large head and eyes, a very small nose and ears, a slit-like mouth, and long unusual fingers. This is an authorial comparison to a separate alleged recovery, not a direct measurement or examination of Herrmann's crew.”
