Tom Kramer told Hastings that while serving aboard USS Curtiss during Operation Ivy he observed a round white object that hovered, performed abrupt zigzag maneuvers and departed rapidly. The account is retrospective and Hastings does not present a contemporaneous record of Kramer’s sighting.
