Ellsworth F-09 Missile-Site Light Reports
Mid-1970s; exact dates not suppliedEllsworth AFB Minuteman missile field, South Dakota, South Dakota, United States
Hastings recounts Bill and Martha Patterson’s reports of strange lights near Ellsworth Launch Facility F-09, including a silent brightly lit disc-like object, and a separate occasion when a missile-security strike-team leader reportedly said radar had detected an object above the LF. The surrounding cattle-mutilation discussion is not treated as proof of a common cause.
