Deputies Bob Goode and Billy McCoy reported a huge silent dark triangular object rushing toward them, hovering close above a pasture, illuminating the ground and patrol car in purple light, radiating heat, and later departing rapidly upward. Hall notes the Air Force ultimately treated the case as unexplained.
